Valley Sea Kayaks
Proven British designs for ocean conditions.

Etain
Fast, straight tracking but still with the hint of playfulness that all our kayaks are famous for. The longer waterline, of the Etain, ensures that performance is maintained and that handling remains predictable, even when laden. This kayak was designed intentionally with a very neutral hull-form giving the kayak predictable handling and a balanced feel, irrespective of the conditions being paddled.

Genesis
This might be our shortest kayak (14'10"/452cm or 15'1"/459cm) but that's a 'Superpower'. Not only is it our best kayak for rock-hopping & surfing but for any given construction, it is also the lightest kayak we make. Its efficient hull also makes it as fast as some companies' 16 footers and with enough storage, for a couple of nights away, the only time you might feel compromised is if you need a longer kayak for bigger multiday-trips or if wanting a straighter tracking, 'speed-machine'.

Sirona
At around 16' (488cm) the Sirona is short enough to be considered an Ocean play-boat but long enough to hold its speed, even when moderately laden. True, it is not intended for multi-week expeditions but it is certainly very suitable for most people, even those with overnight ambitions. Despite its playful personality, its sixteen-foot hull is one of the fastest in its class, whilst the hull also responds predictably to edging and has a stability profile that allows even newer paddlers to exploit this.
