Christmas 2025 Came Early: A Shipment of New Kayaks Arrives
Christmas came early to a fortunate group of sea kayakers last year. The wait for their made-to-order kayaks was over and it was time to unwrap them.
Last December our container load of new kayaks arrived in Melbourne.
What was surprising was that the entire shipment was made up of Taran 16s and Tarantellas of various configurations and colour schemes.
That's the beauty of a made-to-order kayak - you get exactly what you want in a your new boat. You get the layup you want, the colour and graphics scheme, deck reinforced for a sail, whatever.

It was very easy to get caught up in the fun and excitement watching everybody unwrap their new boats!
